Course 11 of 13
AI Engineering
Go beyond using AI tools and start building with them. AI engineering is the work of building software that uses AI models. You explore how these models are put to work inside real applications, and how to judge whether they are doing a good job.
In plain words
Using a chatbot is like driving a car. AI engineering is learning to build things with the engine.

AI models are the technology behind chatbots and smart assistants. An AI engineer takes those models and builds useful products with them, such as a customer-service assistant for a business or a tool that summarises documents.
You learn programming foundations, how to connect to AI models from your own software, and how to test whether the AI is giving good answers. This course involves real coding, so it is easier if you have done some programming or are ready to learn it seriously.
Where this skill is used
- Tech companies building AI features
- Businesses automating support and paperwork
- Startups and freelance AI projects
