Course 05 of 13
Data Analytics
Turn raw numbers into answers people can act on. Data analytics is the skill of asking a clear question, finding the data that answers it, and explaining what you found. It is used in almost every kind of organisation.
In plain words
A data analyst is like a detective who uses numbers instead of fingerprints.

Every business collects information: sales, customers, stock, attendance. On its own it is just a pile of numbers. A data analyst turns that pile into answers, like which product sells best or where money is being lost.
You learn to tidy up messy information, ask it the right questions, and show what you found in simple charts that a boss or client can understand at a glance. If you are comfortable with basic arithmetic and like finding out why things happen, you can do this.
Where this skill is used
- Banks, schools, hospitals and NGOs
- Sales and marketing teams
- Any business that wants to make decisions from evidence
